Gender and its role in critical thinking and critical thinking strategies used by EFL learners

Among many aspects of reading that were under investigation rightfully and thoroughly, the effect gender on critical thinking in general strategy use, particular, seemed to be neglected. The aim this study is investigate possible role use EFL learners. To do so, a qualitative case consisting four participants was conducted. Two them male other two female students at University Mazandaran. Analysis participants' recorded think-aloud protocols reveals first, had no play use; Second, both used same variety strategies.
